The Truffle Tragedy

This is a tragic tale of truffles. I found this incredible truffle recipe on Pinterest, Peanut Butter Graham Cracker Truffles. I was extremely excited to make these little suckers! I even had ghirardelli chocolate to dip them in, and ghiradelli chocolate chips to roll them in, so these were pretty legit truffles!

The balls of peanut butter are what the truffles look like before they are dipped in chocolate. All the truffles were dipped in ghirardelli chocolate, but some are rolled in rice crispys, heath, and ghiradrdelli chocolate chips. 

I made these the day we were heading home from the cabin. I needed them to freeze, so I placed them in the freezer until we left, I told my mom to remind me about them. Now this is were the tragedy happened! As we were driving along on our way home, I realized that I had LEFT THE TRUFFLES IN THE FREEZER! I was so dissipointed! I was super excited to share them with people, but they were left in the freezer :( 

I have a small glimmer of hope, my dad and my two oldest sisters went up to the cabin this weekend, I asked them to bring my truffles home...if they don't eat them first!

Crossing my fingers they will make it home!
